About the Opportunity
DMI is looking to hire an experienced DevOps Manager to lead our DevOps team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the deployment, maintenance, and performance of our infrastructure and applications. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive technical expertise, and a deep understanding of modern DevOps practices.
As a DevOps Manager, you will play an important role in shaping our development and operations processes, driving automation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will work closely with various teams, including development, QA, and IT, to streamline our operations, reduce time to market, and enhance our overall system reliability and performance.
In this role, you will also be responsible for identifying and implementing best practices, tools, and methodologies to improve our DevOps capabilities. You will lead efforts to build a robust and scalable infrastructure, manage cloud resources efficiently, and ensure the highest level of security and compliance. Your ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration will be essential to the success of our DevOps initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, creating a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes.
• Oversee the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of infrastructure, including servers, databases, and cloud environments.
• Develop and enforce best practices for system security, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure proper integration and delivery of software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in a timely manner.
• Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the DevOps processes.
• Implement and manage security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls, to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations.
• Respond to security incidents and breaches, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Qualifications
Education and Years of Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
