Title: Developer, Reporting

Location: Remote (EST Hours)

Client Industry: Retail

Compensation: $50-$55anHR (+ access to Medical Benefits) – 6 month timeline to convert from hourly to salary

We have partnered with our client in their search for a Developer, Reporting who can excel in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in databases, reporting, automation, cloud services, and ERP systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications that meet our clients’ needs while ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Experience in web development is a nice to have.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create insightful reports and data visualizations using Power BI and DAX.
• Automate processes and enhance workflows using Python.
• Leverage AWS services including Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, and EC2 to build and maintain scalable cloud-based applications.
• Integrate and manage SAP ERP systems to streamline business processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and deliver innovative solutions.

Necessary Skills:
• Expertise in reporting tools: Power BI, DAX.
• Solid knowledge of automation with Python.
• Experience with AWS services: Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, and others.
• Familiarity with SAP.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have
• Proficiency in web development technologies: JavaScript (VUE.js / NUXT), HTML5, Node.js, PHP.
• Strong experience with databases: Hana Cloud, Redshift, MongoDB.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
