Position Summary:
The Deal Billing Coordinator is responsible for providing accurate auditing for the deal documents prepared by the store. The reviewing process is to confirm deal paperwork meets revenue recognition, state, municipality, and AutoNation Policy requirement in a timely and accurate manner. Coordinators can be assigned to multiple stores in different states and regions.
Organizational Relationships:
Interacts with internal and external customers at various levels, various teams within the BOS, supervisors and management.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain the queue of deals that are ready for billing on a timely basis, utilizing the Digital Deal Checklist as a guide. Review all deal documents to ensure paperwork meets AutoNation policy requirements. (ATPI, Deal Checklist, etc.) Review all deal documents to ensure paperwork meets Revenue Recognition requirements. (Verifying funds received, Lender approval, Vehicle Delivery, etc.) Review all deal documents to ensure paperwork meets titling requirements. Review all deal documents to ensure that rebate and incentive forms meet program requirements. If applicable, reject to the store the list of any unacceptable or missing documentation needed to meet Revenue Recognition standards. Flag and Submit deals. Verify the deals have posted to accounting in CDK. Ensure all work is complete by meeting daily Service Level Agreements and on deadline critical nights payroll cut-off and month end Ensure daily and monthly productivity is being met. Maintain timely communication with Managers, Supervisors and Leads to resolve any issues or concerns. Stay up to date on knowledge of specific requirements for all applicable states, the associated municipalities, and all brands to ensure accuracy of review and to prepare for questions that may arise from the store(s)
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Equivalent work experience. Working knowledge of dealership process. Working knowledge of finance and insurance products. Strong mathematical ability. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. (Excel, Word, and Outlook) One to two years’ accounting experience. (preferred) Customer service experience. (preferred) Title work experience. (preferred) Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Excellent organizational and follow-up skills. Ability to communicate effectively with management and store personnel. Team player with willingness to assist peers during high-volume times. Discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information.

Deal Billing Lead or cross functional position within the Business Operations Support team
Physical Requirements:
This is largely a sedentary role with extended period looking at computer monitors.
