Data Migration Engineer Fulltime

Skilled Data Migration Engineer with extensive experience in managing and executing data migration projects at scale. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background in database management, ETL processes, cloud platforms (especially AWS), and programming languages like Python and Java. Experience in the specialty pharmacy domain would be advantageous.

Responsibilities
• Data Migration Execution:

oPlan, design, and execute data migration strategies and activities.

oEnsure seamless transition of data from legacy systems to target systems.

oManage data integrity, accuracy, and security during migration processes.
• Technical Expertise:

oUtilize expertise in relational databases (RDS), NoSQL databases (MongoDB), and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and techniques.

oDevelop and optimize scripts and code (Python, Java) for data migration tasks.

oTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data migration.
• AWS Proficiency:

oLeverage AWS services for data migration projects, including but not limited to AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT), and AWS Glue.

oImplement best practices for AWS cloud infrastructure in data migration contexts.
• Domain Knowledge:

oApply specialized knowledge in the specialty pharmacy domain to ensure domain-specific requirements are met during data migration.

oCollaborate with domain experts to understand and fulfill business needs related to data migration.
• Documentation and Reporting:

oCreate comprehensive documentation for data migration processes, including migration plans, technical specifications, and post-migration reports.

oCommunicate progress, issues, and solutions effectively to stakeholders.

Requirements
• Experience:

oProven experience in successfully managing and executing data migration projects at scale.

oHands-on technical expertise with RDS, MongoDB, and ETL processes.

oStrong proficiency in AWS services and cloud infrastructure.

oAdvanced programming skills in Python and Java.

oPrevious experience in the specialty pharmacy domain is advantageous.

Base Salary Range- 100K/Annum – 125K/Annum
