How you’ll make an impact:
We pride ourselves on our commitment to customer satisfaction and are looking for a talented and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team at our facility in St. Paul, MN. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for supporting our Sales and Production teams by processing customer requests in a timely manner.
A Day in the Life:
• Act as an internal representative for the customer, and support outside sales representatives.
• Process customer orders, verify specifications, lead time, and pricing.
• Have an entrepreneurial spirit with managing hard costs, both internally and externally, by working collaboratively with Production.
• Handle various customer inquiries such as pricing, freight cost, shipping information, and inventory.
• Write job orders and accompanying paperwork; create estimates, job tickets, releases, and changes to existing orders in a timely fashion.
• Perform quality checks in full compliance of the quality system.
• Facilitates customer complaints including arranging product return and issuing credit to maintain customer goodwill.
• Collect specifications and other job requirements from Sales or from the customer directly, while responding to customer requests in a timely courteous manner.
• Track finished goods inventory, including order releases.
What we’re looking for:
Basic Qualifications
• Education: GED or High School Equivalent
• Experience: 2-4+ years demonstrated experience in a similar role, or a combination of education and experience.
• An ability to work in a team environment where communication is at the highest level.
• Strong time management skills where a high level of organization optimizes time spent with customers and on orders.
• Ability to accept feedback and use it to grow in your position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Be able to work in a highly time sensitive environment so the project can move to the next stage expediently.
• Passionate and positive “can do” attitude, willing to learn, to teach and to be a change agent within the company.
Preferred Requirements
Our teammates come from diverse backgrounds that help us innovate new possibilities daily. While the qualifications listed below are preferred, they are not required.
• Associate’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• Experience in EFI (Radius).
• Work experience in manufacturing.
