Overview
Kimley-Horn is looking for an Environmental Science or Archeology graduate with 1 year of experience in our Tallahassee office!
Responsibilities
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
• Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
• Some travel may be required (approximately 10%).
Qualifications
• Advanced degree in archaeology, anthropology, historic architecture/architectural history, or a closely related field in Florida
• 2+ years of experience preparing or reviewing a variety of technical reports, including Cultural Resources Assessment Surveys
• 2+ years of experience in survey, testing, and data recovery projects of various sizes and complexity
• Knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques of CRM and relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations
• Knowledge of and experience in applying research methods and forming and maintaining internal-team relationship
• Ability to manage projects and teams as a leader and/or supervisor and to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a large, multi-disciplinary team and promote and sustain effective working relationships with clients, the public, and other agencies
• Proficient organizational, schedule, and budget management skills
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history
