Corporate Paralegal
We are seeking a motivated team member to join a small, dynamic, and growing legal team as a corporate paralegal. The ideal candidate will possess a collaborative and growth-oriented mindset with great attention to detail and experience supporting corporate, transactional, and litigation matters, developing and improving department processes and workflows.
Qualifications
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a field of law or related field (completion of a certificate program in paralegal studies is a plus).
• 3-5 years of experience supporting attorneys, with at least 1-year of in-house experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to independently move projects forward by gaining the support needed from others while working in a cross-functional role.
• Knowledge of legal and general research techniques to support the legal department.
• Contract management experience, including as system administrator of CLM platform.
• Strong experience in developing, implementing, and using legal department technology solutions (e.g., Everlaw and ContractPod , Legal Bill Review, and Adobes Sign e-signature).
• E-Discovery expertise, including data extraction, export, e-discovery software tools, and productions.
• Proven track record of collaborating with other department groups (e.g., finance, sales, regulatory, IT) to set objectives and produce meaningful results.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and experience with contract/data management and e-billing software and video/web conferencing.
Responsibilities
• Identify and implement legal department tools to streamline new or existing practices, including rollout and training for contracts/NDA workflow, management solution, and document management, while ensuring alignment with company standards.
• Assist with litigation related tasks, including e-discovery records/data collection utilizing e-discovery software tools.
• Assist with budget matters and optimizing workflows within the legal department such as legal invoices for compliance with billing guidelines and manage the invoice approval process for vendors and outside law firms.
• Support contract management cycle, using CLM tool to manage intake, assignment, status, versioning, execution, and renewals.
• Create reports, charts, and spreadsheets as requested.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, IT, regulatory, and finance, as internal groups across the company .
• Systematic storage, tracking, and destruction of business documents and records.
• Define and drive strategic and operational initiatives with on-time and on-budget results.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in Washington is $80,000 – $100,000.
