About This Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Data Management Analyst to drive process improvement and operational excellence across the CF Data Domain team. This role will define and drive the improvement of process controls and operational excellence through improved effectiveness and efficiency. This role reports directly to the Domain Executive for Corporate Functions and will interact with all leaders and teams in the CF domain, Enterprise Data Management QA teams, and Control Management.
In This Role, You Will
• Analyze and drive process improvement and efficiencies in Data Domain activities
• Drive standardized high quality data documentation guidelines and checklists
• Implement routines and analysis to review metadata quality and expectations
• Develop desktop procedures to execute assurance activity in a consistent timely manner
• Identify technology automations and technology-based workflow processes to support ongoing analysis of documentation
• Define operational excellence measures and track progress toward achieving these targets
• Define and implement reporting to highlight validation progress, concentrations of validation risk and the quality of deliverables submitted by the Corporate Function Domain teams
• Partner with other teams to incorporate feedback from Quality assurance efforts and control results
• Create a forum with peer domain teams to communicate results of CF evaluations and discuss best practices in process and compliance outcomes for consistency in data governance across domains
• Organize and lead complex companywide initiatives to ensure that data quality is maintained so that data can effectively support business processes
• Oversee analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements
• Identify and recommend analysis of data quality or integrity issues
• Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
• Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of data governance standards and procedures
• Identify new data sources and develop recommendations for assessing the quality of new data
• Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members
• Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy
• Serve as relationship manager for a line of business
• Consult with and provide recommendations to senior management regarding assessments of the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility
• Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies
• Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
• 5+ years in Wells Fargo or equivalent Financial Services Data Management and Data Governance experience
• 5+ years of Process Design, Enhancement, Improvement, and/or QA experience
• Knowledge and understanding of audit, regulatory compliance, and risk management
• Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to support a variety of large-scale programs, services and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity and risk, working collaboratively across multiple business groups.

• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to interact with and influence all levels of an organization
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
