Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contracts Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the management of commercial and government contracts administration and management, ensuring compliance with commercial and FAR/DFAR, export regulations, and facilitating smooth export processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR, commercial contract management practices and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Oversee the entire contract life cycle from RFP to contract close for both commercial and government contracts.
• Draft, review, and negotiate variety of contracts s to ensure alignment of all terms and conditions comply with company policies, objectives and legal requirements.
• Support the resolution of contract related issues, changes in scopes of work, and the understanding of contract details internally.
• Stay updated on export regulations and ensure company compliance with international trade laws.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and government agencies regarding contract and export matters.
• Act as a primary point of contact to interface with government contracting officers, prime contractors, and subcontractors for contract related matters.
• Collaborate with internal sales, finance and legal teams to gather necessary information for contracts and export activities.
• Prepare and submit contract proposals, including RFP responses, cost proposals, and supporting documentation.
• Oversee contract performance and implementation to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, deliverables and budget.
• Conduct regular contract audits and assessment to identify and mitigate risks.
• Perform contract closeouts and government reporting requirements.
• Generate reports and summaries as needed for internal and external audits.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the contracts and export functions.
• Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
Working Conditions
• Hybrid, in-office 3 times a week with occasional travel.
• 9/80 workweek
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle high pressure situations.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, paralegal science certification or degree is preferred.
• Proven experience as a commercial and government contracts management or in a similar role having at least 7 years’ experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of FAR & DFAR regulations as well as export regulations and international trade laws.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and legal principles.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
• Must be a US Citizen or qualified U.S. Person in accordance with ALU 22CFR 120.15. May require the ability to obtain DOD security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certification in Contract Management or Export Compliance.
• Experience working in manufacturing, technology, high technology, or electronic industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, contracts management system, and export applications.
• Government and commercial contracting experience
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Must have the following physical abilities
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, reach, and lift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, if applicable
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods at a desk or table as well as machine tools or printers.

Salary Description
$125,000+ DOE
