At Regions, the Community Relations Administrator partners directly with market leaders to develop targeted strategies and budgets that focus resources on high potential shared-value opportunities in their communities. This position works independently with minimal to no guidance and partners with other areas within Corporate Communications, Social Responsibility and others on more complex issues.
Primary Responsibilities
• Promotes Regions reputation in local communities through coordinating and implementing internal and external promotional programs, activities, and events
• Tracks and measures all components – inputs and outputs – of programs and events
• Serves as first line of engagement for market leaders as it pertains to sponsorships, board engagement, community involvement, and volunteerism
• Creates and maintains relationships with prospective stakeholders in each community by prospecting, networking, and setting appointments
• Manages market assets including events and tickets
• Collaborates with the Marketing department to effectively promote community relations events
• Supports communication of local impact stories through traditional and social media as well as internally
• Creates, maintains, and stewards relationships with the media
• Manages and executes high profile local initiatives, events, and projects in a timely and effective manner
• Represents Regions as needed at community events
• Builds internal partnerships with Regions 360 team, including Financial Wellness coordinators, to improve participation and awareness of community involvement opportunities
• Participates in Regions 360 team meets and provides support
• Partners with Corporate Training to plan, coordinate, and implement Community Relations educational workshop programs in market
• May provide consultation on complex projects
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related
• Five (5) years of experience in public relations, community relations, corporate communications or related
• May require some travel

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
