So, I consider this whole ministry my team. We all have to work together. We all have to communicate with each other. And my favorite part of this team is that we do that. We communicate with each other. We talk to each other. And we’re constantly giving each other updates or kudos or something fun for us to realize that we work at a ministry that thinks about you, cares for you, wants you to grow, not only for self, but for others. So, that’s one of my favorite things is that I’m able to work with everyone in the hospital. I’m able to carry out the mission. And that’s one of my favorite things is that we work well together, and we’re carrying out the mission on a daily basis.

Description
The CNA / RA follows all relevant policies and procedures and works within the Nursing Assistant-Certified scope of practice. Activities of the CNA / RA are supervised by the nurse on duty during the shift, and the CNA / RA reports important resident information to the nurse during the shift and at change-of-shift report.
Duties may include resident care, neighborhood housekeeping, residents’ personal laundry, activities, and food preparation and service. The CNA / RA: acts as an advocate for residents in maintaining choice, independence, privacy, dignity, and security; assists residents in maintaining and improving the quality of their lives at PMSV; assists residents in performing activities of daily living; and helps residents do as much for themselves as they can or wish to do.

Required Qualifications:
• Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualification:
• 1 year customer service or healthcare administrative experience.

About the Team
Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Our core competencies include restorative care, longitudinal care and care through the end of life. Our service lines include assisted living/skilled nursing/rehabilitation, home health, home infusion/pharmacy services, home medical equipment, hospice and palliative care, Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), personal home services/private duty care and supportive housing.
