We show compassion, celebrate differences and treat one another with respect.Responsibilities• Works in EMR to complete daily Surgical Services charge capture and maintains appropriate work-queues• Creates and distributes a monthly material usage report and shares with Hospital/Division leadership• Consult with materials management, clinical nursing staff and vendors to ensure accurate materials descriptions, pricing and catalog numbers• Consult and collaborate with Chargemaster Analyst to maintain and request new materials CDM Codes for non-routine materials• Makes global changes to preference cards in EMR to reflect updated materials• Runs and distributes various monthly reports as requested• Submits new materials to CDM team for charge master updates• Maintains historical data as per requirements• Independently brings project solutions to the CDM/Materials teams and management• Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested• Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge• Cooperates and interacts with superiors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to “service”• Generates and provides data and reports for assigned projects• Prepares, maintains, tracks and oversees a variety of files, reports and records to ensure accuracyQualificationsJob Requirements:• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work or school experience required• High school diploma or GED requiredPreferred Requirements:• Healthcare related degree and professional work experience in revenue cycle operations and/or clinical operations, is preferred• Prior OR experience preferred• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management or a related field preferred
