CONMED is seeking a Clinical Education Specialist to support the Sales Enablement team in training our salesforce in use of company products and best practices. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual interested in training and education.
This individual will provide aid for our sales team in the form of educational events, labs, and training opportunities. They will support improvements and enable continuously improved service and responsiveness to clients. They will have a chance to directly impact the achievement of CONMED’s strategic goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide technical support to sales representatives.
• This includes, but is not limited to, training reps on company products, acting as technical resource for reps and providing support onsite for staff as needed to best service our customer
• Develop the knowledge required of sales procedures and techniques to successfully conduct product evaluations, labs, and training events
• Facilitates multiple different educational opportunities and serves as leader/liaison for labs and training events
Desired Skills and Experience
• 2-5 years of relevant professional experience
• Bachelor’s Degree Required
• Knowledge of training, sales and marketing functions of the company/medical device industry
• Ability to apply company procedures to resolve routine issues
• Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders
• Must be capable of 60% travel requirement
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to multitask in a high paced environment
