So Providence does a number of things to take care of my wellbeing. Benefits are an easy one. The package is very plentiful. I appreciate all the aspects of our benefits that support my wellbeing, but even past that, Providence has a culture that recognizes we are a person. I’m not just a robot coming to work, and while I do come to work and have a job to do, and it’s important that I get it done, I’m also a person, and Providence supports me to take care of myself completely, and I appreciate that deeply.

Description
The Senior Database Administrator for Cardiology is responsible for protecting data as a resource and insuring integration of data across cardiovascular source and software modules. They are responsible for developing, maintaining, supporting and enforcing data standards across all CV modules and applications. Also, they are responsible for ongoing development and management of all CV computerized databases, including the generation of reports for clinical, quality and administrative management purposes.

Required Qualifications:
• 5 years Clinical terminology and/or clinical information system implementation in a healthcare environment.
• 3 years Working with database structures, data definitions and data relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree Computer science, informatics, health information management, business or healthcare – related field.
