A client is looking for a Civil Design Engineer who can work both independently, and collaboratively with colleagues and clients. Tasks include work required for site layout, utility routing, sanitary/storm sewer design, roadways, grading/earthwork, erosion control, stormwater management systems, stormwater pollution prevention plans, and more.
Responsibilities and Duties
Design and create site layout plans in accordance with client’s needs and review agency
requirements
Effectively communicate and collaborate with, client and project team members
regarding project status, design, deliverables
Complete assigned tasks in an orderly and timely manner
Coordinate with construction division through project construction process
Help oversee & review junior engineer’s work
Qualifications and Skill
Active P.E. License
6 ± years of Civil Site Design experience preferred
Experience in Commercial & Residential Site Development
Experience with authoritative codes and regulations, designing subsurface utilities
(sanitary and water), site grading, storm sewer systems and facilities, land disturbance
permitting
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, hydraulic computation software and Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
