Job Description:
Partner / Channel compute specialist drives the sale of HPE compute portfolio of products, systems, and services through resellers/channels to achieve sales and grow market share goals. They work with key or strategic partners and set short and long-term channel strategies. This role will foster reseller relationships, satisfaction and performance. They will develop customer relationships through partnering with key resellers. This role will provide education of HPE compute products through sales and technical presentations and will manage, maintain, and provide reports and opportunity status through regular business plans and reviews.
Additionally, they will analyze competitive intelligence, market trends, and drive alignment with compute business priorities through HPE sales teams. Some key activities include:
• Identifying and penetrating new customers and markets through whitespace and territories
• Growing and expanding spend in existing customer base
• Maintaining revenue from existing customers
• Supporting customer and partner sales inquiries
Responsibilities:
• Manage relationships and serve as trusted advisor to executive partner and customer stakeholders
• Identify and develop new relationships with potential customer stakeholders
• Identify additional cross-/up-sell opportunities for strategic, high-growth products
• Understand and articulate value propositions of HPE compute product solutions and offerings
• Monitor and interpret product usage data for an assigned book of accounts to identify opportunities to improve adoption, pursue renewal opportunities, up-sell within existing products, or identify opportunities for a sales rep to cross-sell
• Develop strong, collaborative working relationships with HPE sales teams across the organization.
• Must live within the greater NYC Metro Area and have the ability to travel to customer sites within this region on a regular basis
Education and Experience:
• University or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of selling experience.
• Experience developing positive relationships and solving customer problems.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $95,400.00 – $214,600.00
