We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team. As a Certified Nurse Midwife, you will provide comprehensive healthcare services to women throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of both mother and baby. Duties:
– Conduct prenatal visits to monitor the health of pregnant women
– Provide education and counseling on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care
– Perform physical examinations and order necessary laboratory tests
– Monitor fetal development and maternal health during labor and delivery
– Full scope intrapartum care, including first assist on Cesarean deliveries
– Conduct postpartum visits to assess the health of mother and baby
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
– Maintain accurate medical documentation using Epic EHR
Call is shared 1:5 with post call day off. 48 hour work week. In the office, you will see some gynecological patients and may perform office procedures. Experienced Certified Nurse Midwife, or a motivated new graduate with Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred. Candidates must be licensed in the state of Georgia as a Certified Nurse Midwife. In addition, you will be required to be credentialed with Piedmont Fayette Hospital.
