A chain of renowned and prestigious urgent care centers to immediately hire a full-time/part-time qualified Certified Medical Assitant in North Bergen, NJ. This job is in a dynamic and professional environment in state-of-the-art facilities that include X-ray, EKG, PFT, and more. The supporting staff performs admission and eligibility, triaging patients, injection, and phlebotomy work. Providers will have a complete report in the EMR before they examine the patients.
Responsibilities
• Assisting with examinations and procedures,
• Administering medications as directed by the physician,
• Removing sutures and changing dressings,
• Coordinating referrals to other healthcare providers,
• Following infection control and safety protocols, and
• Billing and coding for insurance purposes.
Qualifications
• Certfiied in the state of New Jersey
• At least 1-2 years of experience,
• Spanish or Arabic proficiency is preferred,
• High organizational skills, and
• Effective and compassionate communication skills.
Job Type
• Full-time.
Pay Level
• $17-$21 per hour for full-time
