Outpatient sports, vestibular and concussion passionate PTs step forward to join NovaCare West Mifflin!Compensation: Salary range is $68,000-$80,000/yr based on your experience. Plus $350 per month towards your student loans for duration of your employment with us.Schedule: Our centers are open Monday through Friday. Full-time schedule includes 3 evenings a week until 7pm and 2 short days done by 2pm including Fridays!Full time benefits include:• Industry-wide UNMATCHED continuing education program:• 300+ onsite, synchronous and asynchronous CEU accrediting courses, webinars and master classes.• COMT, OCS, SCS, CSCS, Dry Needling, NCS, Pelvic Health, Oncology and additional certifications PAID• Specialty exams and study groups• Journal access, clinical bulletin boards and clinical newsletters.• Transitional DPT program• More than 20 monthly special interest groups (SIGs)• Leadership Development Program• Dedicated career ladders for clinical and professional growth.• Company matching 401(k)• Multiple and affordable PPO benefits + HSA options• Generous Paid Time Off + Holidays + Sick with carry overWhy Join Our Team:• Outlined and defined mentorship program• Clinical Support (locally and nationally: speakers & journal clubs)• Dedicated career paths for clinical and professional growth• Paid National certifications (COMT, dry needling, blood flow restriction, pelvic, Graston, KT tape, and more)• Specialties offered nationwide: aquatic, vestibular, concussion management, sports medicine, pelvic health, oncology rehab, hand therapy, pediatrics, lymphedema, neurological, and FCE/work conditioning.• 1900 centers in 39 states, offering internal movement#ACNResponsibilities• Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how physical therapists may practice and whom physical therapists may supervise.• Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.• Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary.• Strong clinical and mentoring/teaching skills (includes junior PTs and student PT/PTAs as well as local continuing education programs.).• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with existing referral sources attending office visits, observing surgery, or attending rounds.Qualifications• Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy• Valid State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required• Minimum of two to three years of clinical experiencePhysical Requirements:• Ability to lift patients using appropriate biomechanical techniques frequently throughout the course of a work day/shift. Must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds dead weight alone.• Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work day/shift.• Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to evaluate, diagnose and monitor patient needs and to maintain accurate records, recognize people and provide directions.• Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.• Ability to push wheeled equipment through the facility and in the community.• Possess fine motor skills for legible and accurate reporting, charting, scheduling, daily correspondence and presentations, either manually or through use of electronic equipment.• Possess fine motor skills for effective and efficient handling of diagnostic or therapeutic equipment.Additional DataSelect Medical is committed to having a workforce that reflects diversity at all levels and is an equal-opportunity employer.
