$22.00 – $26.00 / hour

Responsibilities
• Assist with the initial catering lead responses, sending menus, standard event details
• Generate proposals on behalfof the Sales Managers for incoming events
• Assist Catering Sales Managers with day-to-day duties including collecting payments, making edits to event orders, assisting with third party rentals and staffing.
• Assemble event folders for all events which include items such as event orders, layouts, dietary restrictions, timeline, and staff sheets
• Answer phones and incoming emails
• Occasionally assist team on-site at large scale events
• Work closely with other departments to coordinate details, special requests, VIP packages, and promotions
Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year of sales, administrative, or coordinator experience required, preferably in a hotel capacity
• Ability to work event hours including some holidays, weekends, and evenings
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel; experience with hotel property management systems a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• No high school diploma or GED required
