The Capability Auditing team ensures that generation and demand assets are able to provide energy and demand reductions as represented to the market. In this role, you will develop and implement asset performance auditing of generation and demand assets. You will also support process development for the registration of market assets and the coordination of changes to the settlement model for new and existing market assets. You will be expected to become intimately familiar with the various provisions in the governing documents that impact performance auditing and asset registration so as to ensure business processes are up to date with current rules.

How You Will Make An Impact
• Provide a wide array of customer support and communications in the area of asset registration and performance auditing
• Analyze asset performance data, identifying trends or anomalies
• Develop business requirements for software applications in conjunction with changes in the tariff or other governing documents
• Develop, maintain and perform auditing and registration business processes in conformance with the governing language and documented business procedures
• Test and document new, and updates to existing, business applications
• Develop and deliver detailed documentation such as memoranda, presentations, white papers, processes and procedures based upon detailed analysis in the support of projects/assignments
• Represent ISO New England at internal and external stakeholder meetings.
• Develop and deliver in-person or web-based training presentations as assigned
What You Need To Be Successful In This Role
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or other relevant area. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Master’s Degree preferred.
• Demonstrated analytical capability and ability to perform data analysis, interpret results, and communicate results to others
• Excellent oral and written communication, customer service and presentation skills
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, or similar products
• Desired not required
• Experience in the utility industry and understanding of electric wholesale markets and operations
• Familiarity with demand response programs, energy efficiency measures, and distributed generation
• Familiarity with developing macros and automating functions such as Visual Basic
• Experience with SQL or other database querying methods and concepts
• Experience in the design, development/testing and implementation of software solutions and business processes
• Project Management and facilitation skills
