Position Description
This position will provide executive support to the Regional Dean, including managing personnel and budgetary matters within the Office of the Regional Dean (ORD) on the Amarillo Campus.
Major/Essential Functions
• Oversee operational processes, including scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring, to ensure efficient daily operations of the School of Pharmacy Amarillo campus.
• Provide high-level administrative support to the Regional Dean, including calendar management, issue triage, and record maintenance.
• Serve as project manager for major events and initiatives on the campus.
• Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders and act as a liaison between the Regional Dean and other offices.
• Collaborate with the Regional Dean to develop and monitor the campus budget, managing internal controls for fiscal operations, including asset management, procurement, and financial administration.
• Ensure compliance with TTUHSC and SOP policies, promoting budgetary goals, cost savings, and efficiency improvements.
• Oversee business services such as ADA accommodations, badge/key access, room assignments, facilities requests, and fleet vehicles management.
• Provide guidance and operational support to local student council and related groups.
Occasional Duties
Some events and meetings may require after hours and/or weekend attendance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience developing or managing programs or projects. Additional job related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in administrative management, ideally within an academic or non-profit setting
• Experience overseeing programs, projects, or initiatives aligned with the department’s mission.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and relevant software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in planning and executing major events, including managing reservations, logistics, budgets, implementation, and outcome evaluation.
