Working within the Customer and Clinical Analytics department, this position will independently perform opportunity analysis of emerging opportunities, advise leaders on improvement opportunities for existing programs, and collaborate with data engineering and data science teams for automation.
Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze data for our Vitality health program
• Develop foundational datasets across models and products
• Define problems based on general needs and advise on potential analytic approaches.
• Independently deliver presentations for both technical and business audiences.
• Extract health care data (diagnosis, procedures, laboratory, insurance operations).
• Perform descriptive and inferential statistical analysis to evaluate projects.
• Create data visualizations to communicate findings.
• Collaborate and guide junior team members in completion of work.
Qualifications:
• Strong analytic proficiency using Python, R, or SAS
• MS or PhD in a related field (Social Science, Epidemiology/Public Health, Statistics, Applied Math) preferred but not required
• Ability to extract data using SQL tools from large databases
• Independently perform matched case-control evaluations
• Minimum 5 years of analytics experience
• We will consider candidates located anywhere in the US, however we would strongly prefer a candidate located in Denver, CO
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 109,100 – 181,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
