We are looking for talented start-up business admin & accounting interns, who could become future experts in the field to start their own businesses. We are pushing the boundaries of what is possible with the latest affordable hardware & software technology. This is to help various specialists in diagnosing and providing intervention to children who could have many types of disabilities/abilities/challenges in disenfranchised/remote neighborhoods.
Note: With no promise, until we get significant funding, this position is unpaid, however, it could qualify for academic credits as a form of compensation and should give a good learning experience.
Responsibilities
• Possesses, understands, and can apply knowledge in accounting, preferably Quickbooks.
• Help in creating budgets, and financial projections.
• Help in tracking within an agreed-upon scope, schedule, and budget to a high level of quality.
• Help with payroll, if needed.
• Assist in the identification, preparation, and presentation of proposals.
• Digital marketing and Search engine optimization are desirable
Qualifications
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Knowledgeable in accounting principles.
• Support documentation of software applications.
• The commitment required is less than 21 hours/week.

Healthcare providers would be able to more efficiently provide a comprehensive diagnosis and intervention for various neuropsychological, neurodevelopmental, and/or motor skills-related disabilities.
Also, schools would be able to better meet their legal requirement to educate children with learning disabilities, cost-effectively.
FYI. The selected applicant would be reporting directly to the CEO, and the internship duration is flexible with a max of 1-year duration, however, it typically last 1-2 quarters.
