Job Description
We are looking for a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our team! This role involves supporting the clinical needs of our clients in our center. As a BCaBA, you will be working closely with children with Autism and other developmental needs, conducting evaluations, providing direct services, and collaborating with families and clinical staff to support our client’s development goals.
Responsibilities Support a caseload of 10-15 clients under the direct supervision of a BCBACoordinate with family and staff and manage your own schedule to provide the appropriate level of supervision and parent/caregiver training, maximizing service utilization Collaborate closely with Clinical Supervisor(s) to update treatment plans as needed and ensure proper collection of data against goalsMaintain BCaBA certification by renewing certification as mandated by the BACB/state regulatory body.Follow the BACB BCBA Ethic Code.Follow all company policies and procedures and represent the company professionally in all client and colleague interactionsFinish daily clinical notes on time and with accuracyMaintain HIPAA confidentiality at all times Requirements Efficiently use a Company iPad and Laptop for internal communications, data tracking, clinical notes, scheduling, and other applications that may be neededWork in the center settingWork on the floor or in children’s chairs with clientsHandle aggressive behaviors and monitor the movement of clients to ensure client and provider safetyPass TB test, immunizations, and background checkBilingual in Spanish preferred Experience and Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or a related field is requiredAn active BCaBA certification with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and proof of 8-hour supervision training completion2+ years working with children with Autism and/or related disordersExperience and/or familiarity with the field of early interventionKnowledge of assessment and implementation of Vineland, Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP), and Assessment for Functional Living Skills (AFLS)Fluent in program development to meet treatment goals, assessment implementation, and report developmentPassionate about behavioral science and disseminating best practices and current research within the ABA fieldA proactive approach to managing your cases and supporting the broader clinical teamA positive and team-player attitude Compensation and Benefits A competitive salary starting at $40,000 annuallyMedical, dental, and vision benefits, accrued sick pay, 401k available with company match and vesting schedulePaid initial and ongoing training programOpportunities for quick career advancement based on performanceFrequent social events and team lunchesHealthcare (medical, dental, and vision benefits) for employees who average 30+ hoursSupervision of hours by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and assistance with preparation for BCBA / BCaBA examsPandoLogic.
