Join our dynamic team as a VDC/BIM Specialist at Starr Electric Company, Inc. This role is pivotal in modeling conduit, cable tray, electrical equipment, light fixtures, and devices using Revit software. Collaborate closely with the project lead BIM/VDC coordinator and provide on-site field coordination support as needed. We’re seeking a team player with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, attention to detail, and adept problem-solving abilities. This role involves managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.Job SpecificationsKnowledgeable in conduit, cable tray, electrical equipment, light fixtures, and devices installations.Understanding of the National Electric Code.Computer savvy with systems and Microsoft Office applicationsProficient in written and oral communication.Able to read and understand electrical drawings.Takes ownership and accountability of work.Strong organizational skills.Ability to foster teamwork.Adaptability to sudden demands.Education, Experience, and/or Prerequisites Required:Preferred 3-5 years of field experience (Apprenticeship Level 3 minimum).Prior experience with Revit software is helpful but not required.Business casual, remote work with occasional onsite presence in the field trailer. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required in the field. Normal work hours in the field set by project manager.
