On Time Staffing is looking for a shipping coordinator to join our team in North Kingstown, RI! Hiring immediately!
Starting pay rate: $21.31
Shifts:
• Days off Sunday and Monday
Job Description:
• Coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations
• Utilizing logistics software to optimize shipping and transport procedures
• Communicating with suppliers, retailers, customers, and other relevant parties to ensure timely and accurate delivery
• Preparing and managing shipping documentation, such as invoices and packing lists
• Overseeing the packing and loading of products to ensure they are properly secured for transport
• Tracking shipments and resolving any delays or other issues that may arise
• Ensuring compliance with safety and legal guidelines, standards and regulations in all shipping and transportation processes
• Managing relationships with logistics service providers, negotiating contracts and rates
• Developing strategies for improving efficiency and reducing shipping costs
• Ensuring customer satisfaction by promptly addressing their inquiries and complaints
• Performing regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy
Requirements and Skills:
• Must have shipping coordinator experience
• Must have good computer skills
• Must be bilingual in English & Spanish
• Ok with Cold environment.
