Job Description
Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking Conference Concierge for the beautiful new Barton Creek Resort & Spa!

Work directly with the client / group contact as an extension to the Banquet Operations and the Conference Service team(s).
Responsibilities
• Add value to groups that is above and beyond normal.
• Provide surprise and delight service to groups VIPs and contacts.
• Visible and available for our group contracts at all times.
• Assist banquets and set-up team as needed.
• Check Daily, BEOs and Daily Event list and verify changes
• Meet daily with group contacts / clients and attend to their operational needs.
• Serve and embrace with passion that you are the assigned liaison between clients, group leaders and all Barton Creek departments thereby ensuring a successful program.
• Handle any unexpected challenges in a timely manner.
• Communicate any and all changes made by the client(s) to affected departments to include Banquets and assigned Conference Managers.
• Coordinate deliveries from the mail room in an expeditious and timely manner.
• Check ALL rooms and ensure that all signage is correct and in appropriate locations and that all unused signage and equipment is out of guest view and moved to appropriate storage locations.
• Check to ensure lights, temperature and ambiance meet the client and resorts standards.
• Audit and inspect every BEO for proper room set up, AV set up, IT / Telecommunication set up and then contact appropriate department to make corrections as required.
• Ensure equipment is in good condition and test to insure it is functional (i.e., phones, AV equipment, IT equipment)
• Walk property daily at opening, closing and during events with a keen eye for detail. Immediately notify Banquet Operations, Housekeeping and Engineering of any related issues of cleanliness and safety.
• Your performance will be measured using the following Group Medallia questions:
• Availability
• Making groups feel welcomed
• Accommodating groups last minute requests
• Service of staff and management.

• This job profile is to give a general scope of the responsibilities and in no way states or implies that these are the only job duties to be performed by the associate in this position. Other duties may be assigned as are required to insure a successful event for clients and groups.
• Qualifications
• High School Diploma or general Education degree required.
• Must have the ability to lift up to moderate weight and stand/walk for entirity of a shift.
• Must have good verbal communication skills, word processor/computer skills experience.
• Must have flexibility to work weekends, early mornings and late evenings.
