About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Audit, Life Sciences Director/Partner here at Anchin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audit and assurance services, with a focus on clients in the life sciences industry. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services.
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage audit engagements for clients in the life sciences industry.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs and providing strategic insights.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the audit team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Mentor and develop staff, promoting professional growth and skill development.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and accounting standards related to the life sciences industry.
• Apply advanced technical knowledge to complex audit issues, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Actively participate in business development activities, including client proposals, presentations, and networking events.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling services and expanding client relationships.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality audit services, adhering to professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Review and assess audit procedures to identify areas for improvement.
• Contribute to the financial success of the practice by managing budgets, monitoring profitability, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA required.
Experience
• 10+ years of experience in audit, with a focus on life sciences industry.
• Previous experience in a leadership or partner role within a public accounting firm.
• In-depth knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Track record of successful business development and client acquisition.
• Networking skills and the ability to identify opportunities for business growth.
Compensation
• Competitive annual salary in the range of $220,000 to $500,000+ based on individual’s experience level.
