Title: Asst Dir-Experience Designer
Location: 7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10007
Duties: Design complex, data-intensive web and mobile applications for to be utilized by our clients in the Financial Services sector. Work cross functionally to create, define, and deliver technical designs and specifications for online and mobile products. Assess and determine user and business needs, develop solutions to usability problems utilizing data visualization and information design techniques, and translate designs into the information architecture of desktop and mobile web-based applications that provide seamless end-user experiences. Develop wireframes, site maps, process flows, and user research reports as part of the user interface design process. Keep current regarding interaction design trends, patterns, and research methodologies. Telecommuting Permitted (100% telecommuting position. Will consider applicants resident in the continental U.S.).
Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Graphic Design, Human Computer Interface, Design, and Technology, or a closely related technical field plus at least two (2) years of experience as a UX Designer, or in a related position performing user interface design. Must have experience with the following: designing complex desktop and mobile web-based applications including wireframes, site maps, process flows, and user research reports; communicating design ideas to multiple stakeholders; and experience conducting user research, visual design, and data visualization; experience working with Material UI; design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe CS. Experience with Github, HTML, CSS, Jira, or Miro. Telecommuting Permitted (100% telecommuting position. Will consider applicants resident in the continental U.S.).
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $100,818 to $184,950/year depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
