Our client is looking for an Associate Veterinarian based in Upstate NY.
You will have the latest equipment at your fingertips, such as digital x-ray, Ultrasound, surgical lasers, companion therapeutic lasers and blood lab stations. The clinic is also staffed with certified technicians and support staff, all of whom are client oriented and provide high standards of customer service.
The area of Upstate New York offers up amazing hiking trails, fishing and hunting, plus plenty of other outdoor sports all set within a beautiful natural back-drop!
Key Duties
You will be representing the clinic which has a focus on exceptionally high standards of services for clients, therefore you will need to be a Team player, have great communication skills and possess a compassionate nature. You will be proficient in surgery and General Practice for treating small animals and have an enthusiastic approach to work. When dealing with patients and their owners you will be understanding and sympathetic and should be able to explain treatments and procedures in a non complicated manner.

Key Skills, Qualifications And Client Requirements
• Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
• Active Veterinary State License
• Current DEA License (can be obtained upon hire)
• USDA Accreditation (can be obtained upon hire)
• Experience preferred but new graduates seeking mentorship are welcome to apply
