Associate Technologist
Summary:
The Associate Technologist participates in support the M365 platform including Exchange and SharePoint (on-premises and cloud based) for the enterprise. This includes oversight of the usability as well as the installation, configuration, and implementation/migration to the new technology. This position also serves as escalation point for support situations. The role also supports corporate technologies supporting the organization which involves AV technology used across Land O’Lakes (campus and remote) and their respective management systems.
Areas of Responsibility:
Internal/External Collaboration
• Works cross-functionally with internal/external IT partners to support collaboration systems to meet enterprise objectives.
• Participates in the development of long-term strategic goals for collaboration systems, software, and physical endpoints.
• Review and implement upgrades to critical infrastructure, servers, and applications involved in a M365 Hybrid environment
• Assists senior team members on the design and implementation of collaboration technologies and advanced functions of the technology stack.
• Assists senior team members on implementations and migrations for mergers and acquisitions.
Customer Support
• Experience in the support of M365 platform and supporting technologies. · Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves software and hardware issues across the enterprise.
• Assist the support teams as a Tier 2 escalation point and provides guidance and training on current and future IT needs.
Process Management
• Assists senior team members new product and service evaluation, design, implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Assists senior team members with architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of collaboration technology systems.
• Follows established ITIL processes/procedures and drives improvements with process, quality assurance, and standard operating procedures.
• Continually drives improvements including process waste reduction and automation.
• Create scripts and other automated processes to maximize operational efficiencies.
Audio/Visual Support
• Works with external vendors on design and implementation of new AV technology
• Experience in the support of AV Technology systems used for collaboration, meetings, Town Halls, and communications.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots and resolves AV software and hardware issues throughout the organization.
• Acts as a Tier 2 escalation point for issues and provides guidance and training on current and future IT needs.
• Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems for:
• conference center technologies (events)
• conference room and digital signage technologies (TVs, Screen Presentations (ClickShare), etc.)
• collaboration and conferencing platform technologies, including existing and new technologies (Zoom, Teams, Vbrick, etc)
Experience-Education (Required):
• HS Diploma and 3 plus year of network telecom and IT experience
• Proficient in MS Office 365, with experience in MS Exchange, Email security (SPF, DKIM and DMARC)
• 2 years of vendor management interaction
• Proficient Audio-Visual Technologies with experience in Zoom meetings/webinars
• Proficient in Power Automate
Competencies – Required
• Able to take technical concepts and situations, communicate to non-technical audience
• Agile when job duties demand it, this may require off hours / weekend when needed ie, 0-day vulnerability
