• Simple Mobile: Carving out a niche of its own, Simple Mobile shines as the premier choice among authorized resellers. Its consistent recognition as the most carried brand in Wave7 Research’s prepaid dealer survey for 36 consecutive quarters speaks volumes about its popularity and reliability.
• SafeLink: SafeLink remains dedicated to serving customers through government subsidies. With a strategic pivot towards Lifeline in the absence of ACP, SafeLink continues to fulfill its mission of providing essential communication services to those in need.

What You’ll Be Doing
As the Associate Director of Brand Management for Simple Mobile, you will lead a team to define winning growth strategies for Simple Mobile to ensure the brand continues being the leader among the agent retailer channel. You will be diving deep into business performance, consumer insights, and the competitive landscape to design and launch new value propositions, products, and promotions. You and your team will be at the forefront of the brand – driving excitement, passion, change, and growth.
• Owning the Simple Mobile brand growth strategy and roadmap that outlines new value propositions, products and promotions.
• Aligning Verizon Value Organization (VVO) leadership to brand strategies designed for growth of the Simple Mobile business while also driving customer retention and churn improvements for the brand.
• Responsible for the identification of growth target segments for Simple Mobile, using conceptual thinking to understand and unearth relevant pain points and insights that will lead to stronger value propositions.
• Continuously working closely with the research and insights team to stay close to consumer insights, industry trends, and competitive threats.
• Developing a strong partnership among all VVO functions (Finance, Marketing, Distribution, Legal, Operations, Base, etc.) and continuously communicates brand strategy, objectives, targets, and initiatives to drive cohesive cross-functional plans that result in brand growth.
• Providing strategic brand counsel to guide decision-making within cross-functional strategies that impact that brand.
• Closely monitoring business performance and proactively initiates necessary teams to optimize programs or develops new ones to meet necessary targets.
• Identifying key growth initiatives (Big Rocks) for the year and continuously optimizes to ensure initiatives are current to target segment needs and business priorities.
• Leading the Simple Mobile Brand team in the definition of business assumptions and business rules for all proposed growth initiatives, inclusive of leadership alignment and approval.
• Developing high quality briefs to all necessary stakeholders and is directly responsible for the overall execution and performance of key initiatives.
• Working with Integrated Marketing to secure necessary marketing support for key initiatives, and closely partner to ensure visibility of marketing plans.
• Directly responsible for ensuring end to end launch of key initiatives are sound and in strategic alignment to overall key objectives.
• Cultivating a positive, winning mindset for the brand within the team and partners.
• Sharing a contagious passion and excitement for the brand and business that motivates partners to engage
• Dedicated to nurturing and developing their respective team
You’ll Need To Have
• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Even Better If You Have One or More of the Following:
• MBA.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office.
• Understanding of Verizon processes and systems.
• Understanding of the indirect channel.
• Experience in telecommunications or CPG.
• Strong project management skills, efficient multitasking is vital to success.
• Experience managing and influencing client relationships at the senior executive level. Ability to present and interact with all levels of management.
• Impeccable managerial skills and excellent communication skills and executive presence.
• Presented findings and insights targeted to what that audience cares about (up to the executive level). Ability to influence without direct authority.
Where you’ll be working
In this hybrid role, you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $131,000.00 and $244,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
