What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
• Conduct research addressing human-induced environmental change across various ecological scales
• Teach courses in the Biology and/or Earth & Environment curriculum
• Supervise graduate research in Ph.D. programs
• Collaborate with faculty and researchers in related fields and interdisciplinary programs
• Maintain an externally funded research program
What Is Required (Qualifications)
• PhD in a relevant field
• Strong publication record in the field of Global Change Biology or Remote Sensing
• Ability to contribute to teaching and mentoring in graduate programs
• Experience in conducting interdisciplinary research
• Commitment to enhancing diversity within the academic community
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
• Research expertise that complements existing strengths in global environmental change
• Previous experience with interdisciplinary collaboration
• Demonstrated ability to secure external research funding
• Background in ecology, evolution, marine biology, or related fields
• Experience in teaching at the university level
