Therefore, we are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team.Applications Support AnalystYou provide direct support to users in the utilization of the company’s diverse business applications. Ensure employees remain productive and business processes reliant on technology continue to function smoothly.Responsibilities:• User Support: Provide expert support in the use of O365, SharePoint, and Power Apps to drive continuous improvement and innovation.• Problem Analysis: Use established fact-finding procedures and technical knowledge to analyze and resolve user issues.• Project Support: Participate in the analysis of project proposals, identify potential problem areas, and recommend optimal approaches.• Application Development: Contribute to the development, implementation, installation, and testing of business applications and interfaces.• Best Practices: Support the development and sharing of best practices within the local organization.• Process Optimization: Apply analytical skills to quickly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve IT-related issues to optimize business processes.• Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and assist in training sessions during the rollout of new or modified applications. Document business processes and needs supported by all applications.• Cybersecurity: Ensure compliance with cybersecurity measures and proactively identify and address potential vulnerabilities.This position – and all positions – with the INEOS Oxide US organization requires that the employee commit to learning, following, and practicing INEOS 20 Principles of Process & Behavioural Safety as applicable to the position. These are also posted within each Oxide facility.Required Skills and Competencies:• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field, or 10 years of experience in application development and support.• Technical Skills:Strong understanding of ITIL principles.Experience in the production industry with knowledge of basic business processes.Ability to solve complex technical or process-related issues.Experience with O365, SharePoint, and Power Apps.• Analytical Skills: Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to support a wide range of applications.• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and facilitation skills to foster collaboration across teams.
