Responsibilities of the Applications Engineer include, but are not limited to:
• Provide assistance to our team of Applications Engineers.
• Support in the form of research, quotes from suppliers, and general pump related research as needed.
• Work closely with AE Team to provide technical data, some work in Excel, Word, and various manufacturer websites.
• Assist in preparing proposals using vendor software, sales catalogs & cost estimates according to technical and performance requirements.
• Assist with the follow-up of all quotes as needed by the AE Team.
Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
• Currently attending a 4 year college in and engineering major is preferred.
• The ability to talk and connect with people in person and over the phone is a must.
• Motivated team player willing to assist in various tasks as need by the AE Team.
• Computer literate.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Self starter demonstrated ability to work productively and finish tasks on time.
Additional Information:
Physical Demand: Walking and sitting.
Working Conditions: Office
Training/Certifications: N/A
Shift/Overtime: Monday – Friday part time or full time per the student’s availability.
Travel: No travel unless we bring you to a local job site to see actual working conditions.
Education: College Degree preferred but not required
