We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Administrator in Training for our long-term care facilities located in North Central Oklahoma. Under the guidance of a current LTC Administrator, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and gain hands-on experience in managing the daily operations of a skilled nursing facility. If you’re passionate about elderly care, possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and have a genuine desire to grow within the long-term care industry, we want to hear from you!
As an Administrator in Training, you will learn to:
• Collaborate closely with the Administrator to devise and execute strategic plans aimed at enhancing services and upholding the facility’s high standards to provide dignity, respect and compassionate care. To every resident, Every Person, Every day.
• Learn and actively assist with the daily operations of the nursing home, staff scheduling, resident care, regulatory compliance, financial management, and facility maintenance.
• Work closely under the direct supervision of the Administrator to grasp the leadership responsibilities and management style crucial for efficient nursing home operations.
• Participate in various departmental functions to understand the diverse roles and responsibilities within the nursing home.
• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal standards.
• Contribute to the management and development of staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Support in managing budgets and financial matters effectively.
• Address family and resident concerns, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
• Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and industry workshops to enhance professional development.
Desired Experience and Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration/Management, or a related field.
• Must obtain an Oklahoma Long Term Care (LTC) or Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license within 9 months of employment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work well under supervision and be receptive to constructive feedback.
• Capacity to handle stressful situations effectively.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Upon completing the Administrator in Training program, you will be assigned to a facility. If no immediate openings are available, you will serve as an assistant administrator floating between facilities or acting as an interim administrator as needed.
