Job Title: Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant
Location: Peoria, IL (Hybrid)
Compensation: Up to $25 per hour
Employment Type: Part-Time (10-25 hours per week)
Overview:
We are seeking a Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team in a part-time, hybrid capacity. This role is ideal for someone with experience in bookkeeping, administrative support, and proficiency in accounting software. The individual will assist with a range of duties, from financial record-keeping to employee onboarding and offboarding tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Bookkeeping: Manage basic accounting tasks, including data entry, manage accounts payables, invoicing, monthly reconciling, inventory, and financial record keeping.
• Payroll Support: keep employee info up to date, manage timesheets, benefit info accuracy.
• Report Preparation: Run financial reports and assist with potential reporting for annual performance reviews.
• Clerical Support: Assist with communications with employees, customers, and vendors, and general inquiries. Assist with administrative tasks
Qualifications:
• Experience: Prior experience in bookkeeping or administrative roles is required.
• Education: Associate’s degree required; higher education or specialized certifications in bookkeeping or administration are a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and ADP is required.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
Work Environment:
This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work remotely and in-office as needed.
