Description
We are in search of an Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Non-Profit sector, located in Pinellas Park, Florida. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and involves key responsibilities such as data entry, customer service, and managing inbound and outbound calls.
Responsibilities
• Manage inbound and outbound calls effectively, ensuring that all queries are handled efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing and resolving customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Carry out data entry tasks with accuracy, ensuring all customer applications are processed efficiently.
• Schedule appointments as required, ensuring optimal time management.
• Use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word to perform various administrative tasks.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records, updating them as necessary.
• Monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary.
• Conduct email correspondence professionally and efficiently, ensuring all communication is clear and effective.
• Perform general front desk duties, managing the reception area and providing assistance to visitors.
• Execute filing tasks, ensuring all documents are organized and easily accessible.
Requirements
• Experience in answering inbound calls and handling both inbound and outbound calls
• Proven customer service skills
• Proficiency in data entry tasks
• Ability to manage email correspondence effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Experience in scheduling appointments
• Previous experience in an administrative role within the non-profit sector would be advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
