Summary
The Medical Imaging Department at Regis College is seeking adjunct faculty for the fall 2024 semester (adjuncts may teach up to two courses).
Courses available:
NM401 Nuclear Medicine Procedures and Technology (6 credits)
NM406 Instrumentation I (3 credits)
NM409 Rad Physics and Rad Protection (3 credits)
Essential Functions:
• Teach courses in Nuclear Medicine
• Engage with all responsibilities associated with teaching: content preparation, grading, office hours, student engagement, academic assessment, etc.
• Meet with Dept. Chair periodically to discuss content, student progress, challenges, etc.
Additional Information
Requirements:
• Minimum of a BS degree (graduate degree preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology
• Commitment to undergraduate and/or professional education and student success
• Commitment to creating an inclusive classroom learning environment in keeping with the University’s commitment to inclusive excellence in a diverse educational community.
• Hold an active CNMT credentials by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Boards and/or ARRT RT(N) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Ability to collaborate with other faculty
• Ability to utilize technology necessary for teaching including but not limited to: Office 365, Moodle, library and other online resources.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
• Normal office environment, not subject to extremes in noise, odors, etc.
• May spend extended periods at terminal, on telephone, or operating other office machines requiring eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity.
