Our location in Wisconsin currently has an opportunity for an Acute Care Sales Representative in our Therapeutic Nutrition division.
The primary role of this position is to execute strategies to drive sales and expand product market share of Ensure brands and specialty products. Responsible for targeted Hospital accounts also including select Outpatient clinics such as Oncology, Wound and Bariatric accounts. Key stakeholders such as: Nutrition Services, Nursing, Quality, Materials Management, Physicians, and nutrition-related task forces and committees. Responsible for providing current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Abbott products, and effectively communicating the clinical and economic benefits.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Full ownership of acute care accounts, wound clinics, and podiatry offices
• Executing strategic sales initiatives designed to exceed established sales goals.
• Work closely with District Manager and cross-functional / interdisciplinary teams to execute the strategic account plan
• Prioritizing the utilization of resources to drive return on investment
• Utilizing Abbott Nutrition promotional materials and clinical studies to effectively communicate the clinical and scientific benefits of Abbott Nutrition products to targeted healthcare professionals
• Plan and organize to maximize focus on top priorities
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong organizational skills
Preferred
• 2-3 years of medical hospital sales or relevant clinical experience
• Clinical/Healthcare experience (RN/RD)
• Selling experience across a wide range of Health Care Practitioners in Hospital setting/environment
• Strong Business acumen demonstrated through solid understanding of the healthcare landscape
• Strategic Account Planning experience
Territory
• The territory covers the whole state of Wisconsin. Preferrable the ideal candidate would live in the Greater Milwaukee area.
• 5% of Travel for District/Regional meetings and trainings.

The base pay for this position is $57,300.00 – $114,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
