Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist at our educational institution located in Devens, Massachusetts. The successful candidate will be involved in the processing of invoices, managing accounting functions and utilizing accounting software systems. This role is situated within the Education – University industry and involves handling important data entry tasks and resolving discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately process invoices on a weekly basis
• Utilize NetSuite and other accounting software systems for various accounting functions
• Handle ACH payments and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
• Maintain meticulous records of accounts payable
• Work closely with other team members to ensure all accounting functions are completed in a timely manner
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting tasks
• Address and resolve any discrepancies found in accounts payable
• Continually monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy in data entry tasks
• Ensure all customer inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Accounting Functions is necessary.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is essential.
• Knowledge of Check Processing is needed.
• Must possess skills in Data Entry.
• Ability to solve discrepancies is required.
• Proficiency in using NetSuite is a plus.
