Description Summary
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team!
This role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to all aspects of the accounting cycle. You’ll handle general ledger accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and more. You’ll also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across North America and internationally.
Responsibilities Include
• Manage general ledger accounts, including recording transactions and journal entries, and perform account analysis and reconciliations.
• Assist with the monthly record-to-report process, including recording major customer remittances, marketing allowances, and deductions, as well as cash activity and intercompany account reconciliations.
• Generate and distribute reports, including accounts receivable aging reports to support collection efforts, and utilize tools like Tableau to create insightful general ledger reports.
• Support governmental filings, external audit/lender reviews, and inventory appraisals.
What You’ll Bring
• Accounting Expertise: Solid US GAAP knowledge, financial reporting proficiency, and advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) for accounting tasks.
• Experience & Accuracy: 1-3 years in accounting/finance (public or mid-large distribution preferred). You have a keen eye for detail and deliver accurate work on time.
• Thrives in a Fast Pace: Ability to meet deadlines and excel in a dynamic, continuous improvement environment.
• Strong Skills: Excellent communication (written, oral, listening), time management, organization, and initiative.

Working Conditions
Schedule: Standard hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm EST. Due to the global nature of the role, some flexibility may be required to attend occasional evening meetings, conference calls, or contribute additional work input outside of core hours.
Work environment: This position is based in Norwalk, CT.
Travel: Some overnight travel may be required.
Physical Demands: Mostly sedentary, use of repetitive hand and wrist motions, must be able to maintain proper posture, must be able to lift, pull, or maneuver up to 25lbs.
The salary range for this role is $65K to $90K. This range is applicable for jobs performed in the Eastern and Central Time Zones. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, and business organizational needs.
