AVL Mobility Technologies, Inc. It is the mission of AVL MTI to be the leading engineering consultancy providing excellence and sustainable mobility solutions to North America and the world as a key member of the AVL global network to help improve vehicle safety and reduce emissions.
AVL Advanced Simulation Technologies (AST) is a part of the MTI team and is searching for an Account Manager. The Account Manager position is responsible for maintaining and expanding the Company’s client base and revenue in a particular market. The Account Manager sells software, training, and services to new and existing customers through available sales methods, such as phone calls, customer visits, etc. Ideal candidates will be based in Michigan or California. The position is hybrid or remote (pending location) and will require travel to customer locations (amount of travel will be determined based on the individual’s location.) Success in this position will be driven by experience in simulation and preferably new technologies such as experience in battery. In addition, candidates should possess self-motivation and customer interfacing skills. Technical sales experience is preferred.

Profile Description
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years successful technical sales experience or 10+ years of experience in related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently
