HOW WILL YOU MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN?
This is a delivery position based in the field following a disaster. The candidate must have the ability to deploy to a disaster area for a minimum of 2 weeks and up to 30 days at a time to Florida. Bring your incident management disaster response skills and all that is the emergency management professional inside a team that challenges you to solve big problems and mitigate suffering. We need leaders, problem-solvers. and creative individuals who want to serve our clients while innovating and pushing the envelope of change to transform the discipline of Emergency Management.
IDEALLY, WE’D LIKE:
We are looking for qualified personnel in their respective NIMS ICS positions and have successfully completed Task books (FEMA NQS Task Book, National Wildfire Coordinating Group NWCG, or Florida AHIMT Program) disaster responders. Other credentials may be considered. If you are qualified and credentialed in one of the following positions, we encourage you or those in your network to apply:
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
• The ability to stay calm and focused working in a chaotic high stress environment.
• Be solution-oriented and flexible.
• Have an ability to authentically establish credibility, build consensus, and activate collaboration with clients and teammates!
• Be a subject matter in Emergency Management or Disaster Planning, Response, and Recovery
• Demonstrated success in delivering expert solutions and methodologies to existing and new client accounts.
• Experience running engagements, managing teams, and driving desired business outcomes throughout delivery, as well as the ability to pinpoint gaps and omissions.
• Creative ingenuity and a proven ability to find or design simple solutions to complex challenges.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university is a plus.
• Additional external accreditation or recognition from recognized professional bodies Conduct or participate in conferences, meetings, and workshops relating to natural hazards/all hazards planning or other associated issues.
• Be visionary and apply cutting-edge practices and thoughts to emergency management.
• Be authentically you as you engage in growing your skills every day.
REQUIREMENTS:
• As a condition of employment, you must pass a level 2 fingerprinting background check

• Be willing to travel 100% of the time and be deployed for a minimum of two weeks and for as much as 30 days at a time to an impacted community working at the client’s site and direction
• Be willing to work to a 12-hour day
