This position is onsite 4 days per week and work from home one day per week. There will be potential to visit all facilities within the Indy Suburban Region regularly.
The Improvement Leader partners with and develops leaders and team members to ensure on-time completion of improvement projects as well as delivers on expected results. Analyzes current conditions of processes utilizing data and lean management (based on Toyota Production and High Reliability Organization principles) capability with leaders and team members. Applies Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) thinking to achieve break through improvement in support of the business unit’s strategic goals. Assists departments in best practice standardization and spread, utilizing lean and change management methodology.

Preferred qualifications:
Organizes and facilitates multi-disciplinary teams in problem-solving and projects.
Contributes to coaching clinical team in development and department support using Lean processes.
Assists in best practice standardization and spread utilizing methodology.
Knowledge of clinical operations and flow of patient through the acute healthcare system.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience is required.
• Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• 3-5 years experience leading process improvement in a Lean enterprise or equivalent experience within IU Health.
• Requires basic proficiency in MS Office.
