The Role
You’ll be a key leader in safeguarding our organization’s digital assets and ensuring business resilience. This role demands a deep understanding of the evolving cyber threat landscape and a keen ability to strategize, build, and lead a high-performing CSIRT team. You’ll collaborate closely with Security leadership, IT, and other key partners to proactively detect, respond to, and mitigate cybersecurity incidents.
Details Include
• Strategic Vision: Partner with Security leadership to define and drive CSIRT Operations’ strategic vision, operational plans, and success metrics, aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Partner Engagement: Build strong partnerships across the organization, crafting continuous feedback loops that allow the CSIRT Operations team to understand evolving business needs and prioritize security solutions.
• Operational Excellence: Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, ensuring efficient event handling processes, from triage and investigation to containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Technology Adoption: Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats and tools, evaluating and implementing security technologies to enhance our CSIRT capabilities.
• Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous learning and improvement, conducting reviews and driving the evolution of the CSIRT operations team’s response capabilities.
• Communication and Reporting: Represent the CSIRT in executive reviews and ensure regular communication, updates, and follow-ups on incident response activities and key performance indicators.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Consistent record of developing and improving operational processes, implementing metrics, and driving quality assurance initiatives within a security or IT environment.
• Experience leading and escalating security incidents, conducting investigations, and coordinating response efforts across teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a technical team, fostering a collaborative and impactful environment.
• Solid understanding of incident response methodologies, security tools, and industry best practices.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical partners.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions based on metrics and insights.
• Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Passionate about continuous improvement and driving operational excellence within the CSIRT.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $153,300 — $301,100 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
