The Opportunity
At Adobe Firefly, we build foundation generative models for image, video, and other modalities that power the suite of products at Adobe. This work is powered by a platform comprised of data, training, and inference infrastructures. We are looking for a world-class ML engineer of computer vision (CV) specialty to lead the data quality, performance, and optimization of this platform. You will research, experiment, develop, and optimize CV algorithms/models that understand, generate and enhance data for training state-of-the-art image and video foundation models.
This is a highly cross-functional role where you will closely work with the training platform, inference platform, Adobe Research, Applied Research, and Adobe Stock teams, among others.
Responsibilities
• Research and develop CV algorithms/models to generate image and video training data for GenAI foundation models
• Collaborate with researchers and applied researchers to bring research ideas to production
• Collaborate with data, training, and inference platform teams to optimize, scale up and deliver end-to-end solutions to production.
Requirements:
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI/ML or related fields (research focus on Computer Vision is preferred) with 7+ years industry experience.
• A deep understanding of AI/ML, including ML frameworks, public cloud and commercial AI/ML solutions.
• Deep expertise in computer vision, image processing, video processing, and machine learning for Generative AI.
• Experience with large-scale generative model training, datasets, and infrastructure.
• Experience with large-scale data visualization for images or videos.
• A self-motivated person with excellent communication skills to collaborate with multi-functional teams.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $150,700 — $284,400 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
