Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Girls Director of Coaching to join our team. This role is crucial in shaping the future of our club by developing and executing a strategic vision for player and coach development. The Director of Coaching will oversee all soccer-related activities, ensure consistency in coaching standards, and lead the ongoing education of our coaching staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement club-wide coaching philosophy, curriculum, and player development plan.
– Mentor and support the coaching staff, providing regular feedback and guidance to improve their skills and effectiveness.
– Work alongside the Director of Coach Education and conduct coaching clinics, workshops, and other professional development opportunities.
– Collaborate with coaches to assess player development and identify areas for growth and improvement.
– Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and competitive environment for all players and coaches.
– Work with the club’s leadership team to align coaching activities with the club’s overall goals and objectives.
– Oversee team selections, tryouts, and player placements in collaboration with coaches.
– Ensure compliance with all league, state, and national soccer regulations and standards.
Qualifications
– USSF or UEFA coaching license (C License or higher preferred).
– Proven experience as a coach or director within a youth soccer organization, preferably with a focus on female athletes.
– Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire coaches and players.
– Deep understanding of player development principles, particularly for female youth athletes.
– Experience in creating and implementing coaching curriculums and development programs.
– Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including coaches, parents, and club leadership.
– Passionate about promoting a positive and inclusive soccer environment.
