Individual Contributor
Individual Contributor as a Software Engineer at Adobe, you will play a vital role in the Engineering team, working on world-class cloud applications that have a global impact. We are looking for someone with 7+ years of strong full-stack experience in building and maintaining highly complex cloud applications. Your expertise in system design will have a direct impact on the fundamental architecture of our products.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with diverse teams to gather system requirements and develop solutions that align with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain high-quality code for our cloud applications, ensuring scalability and performance
• Implement and optimize data technologies such as RDBMS, MongoDB, Kafka, and Elasticsearch
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our products
• Take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle, including QA, build, deployment, and support of production systems
• Independently fulfill tasks with limited structure and minimal direction from management
What you need to succeed:
• Demonstrated ability building and maintaining highly complex cloud applications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science (preferred), or equivalent experience in the field.
• 6+ years experience in JavaScript/TypeScript/React/SPAs
• 4+ years experience in Java/Spring Boot
• Shown web architecture experience in designing and developing robust, complex full-stack architectures
• Experience designing and developing robust, scalable high impact (micro-)services
• Strong skills in Javascript/HTML/CSS, experience with ES6 and React.Strong knowledge of data technologies, including RDBMS, MongoDB, Kafka, and Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with other technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Serverless, and AWS
Bonus experiences
• AEM products
• Experience building highly customizable Web Components and/or MFEs
• Experience building micro-services on serverless platform
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $124,000 — $234,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
